I'll post more details as my schedule opens
up (sizes, prices, etc for B&W and color art).
I have done several 18"x24" recreations
of my 1992 Marvel Masterpieces trading card set as commissions. Since
the original card art is only 6"x8.5", this really gives
me the chance to create fully finished, cover quality images that just
weren't possible within the size and time constraints of the original
job.
All paintings will be "one off" and never painted again.
Price is $4,000 each
The Spider-Man, Thanos and White Queen
cards are already gone and cannot be commissioned.
Thanks to all who have already inquired
as to recreating some of my previously published covers. While at first
I was adverse to doing that, the chance to "renovate and repair" the
things I was unhappy with on the Marvel cards has made me reconsider
that view, and I would be open to the idea.
